About Sanju Jain

Inspired by the technique of hand painted huts in rural India, gifted artist Sanju Jain from Bhopal incorporates clay and other materials in her paintings. The mixture is churned and then coated on the canvas to dry with glue from the Babool tree, creating its most attractive feature, the texture. The artist takes her thoughts and experiences and transforms them into emotive images, weaving in a sense of earthiness. Using her brush; the artist evokes an intense feel of the nature, drawing us into her orange sunrise and sunsets.
